So the Christmas Ornaments were finished drying so we had a fun night of painting & putting glitter on them. The kids loved it. They still smell amazing. Faith was having a battle of wills & wouldn't eat her 3 bites of dinner so she could paint. Luckily she finally ate her dinner. Now all we have to do it put the string on so we can hang them on the tree. We finished up the night with drinking hot chocolate with candy canes to stir. (This is one of my favorite treats peppermint + chocolate = Yummy ~ though I had to live through everyone else since it doesn't fall on my diabetic diet list. ) We then read the nativity story. It was a nice night.
