Day 1: Gift ~ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Book & poster. Here is the explanation of the Grinch poster: Each time you do something nice for someone in your family or someone you see when you are at school, or work, or church, or the grocery store or anywhere else, tape a heart on the Grinch. Maybe you could make a goal to do something nice each day for each person you live with. The kids love the hearts & can't wait to put one up. We have a tradition that each night at dinner we ask everyone what they did that was nice for that day & what their favorite thing that happened. They are even more excited now to share their experiences.
Day 2: Gift ~ Shrek the Halls DVD. Sometimes we all have a ogre side but the important thing is being able to say, "Sorry". Also tying in the atonement & even though we make mistakes through Jesus Christ we can be forgiven.
Day 3: Gift ~ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Cartoon DVD & Grinch Pills. Grinch Pills (IKA green tic tacs) "Use one of these when you start to feel grouchy." We can turn our mad feelings into glad feelings & serve those you love. That is what Jesus did. He made the choice to act in kindness like we should do.
