12 Days of Christmas Days 7-9

Day 7: Gift ~3 little Christmas Trees & miniature ornaments. We hope you enjoy expressing your own personal style in your tree. There is no wrong or right way to decorate it. The kids each had their own tree. Faith the smallest, Marshall the medium, & Paris the largest. They thought it was so fun.
Day 8: Gift ~ Christmas CD & kaleidoscope. One of the best things about Christmas is the music. Tonight we invite you to have a crazy, silly Christmas dance party. With the kaleidoscope it can be fun to see things in a new way sometimes. The kids go crazy running around & dancing to Christmas songs everyday. They had fun with the kaleidoscopes as well.

Day 9: Gift ~ Ingredients to make corn flake wreaths. Take time to make these as a family & you can take the extras to a neighbor as a Secret Santa gift. A wreath is also a circle. A circle is a symbol of forever or eternity, because it has no ending or beginning. Look at mom or dads wedding ring. Since your parents were sealed in the temple you are sealed together as a family for eternity or forever too. I let the kid hold my ring & try it on. I normally don't let the so it was a pretty cool thing for them. It was getting late so we are going to make the treats tomorrow. We ended up making the Christmas wreaths Christmas Eve. Faith had gotten into the marshmallows & had put the entire bag on a plate & started eating them. Luckily she only ate a few so we had plenty to make the wreaths. The kids loved making the wreaths & enjoyed eating them just as much. The skittles were a hit. Marshall is in love with anything green so his wreath had only green skittles on it.
