We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We made the Christmas Corn Flake Wreaths. We had a yummy dinner (ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, cheese ball w/ wheat thins and little smokeys in bbq sauce). We used our crystal glasses & everyone (including the kids) got to use grown-up glass plates. It was nice & quiet. It was great being able to talk about Christ & the reason we celebrate Christmas. We then watched the Living Scriptures cartoon version of the nativity. After we acted out the nativity. Since we were short on actors we all played different things.
Casey ~ Donkey, Shepherd, Wise Man
Jennifer ~ Angel, Costume Design
Paris ~ Mary (with Baby Alive as Baby Jesus)
Marshall ~ Joseph, Sheep, Wise Man
Faith ~ Bunny (because every nativity needs a bunny), Wise Man

It was a lot of fun & there was lots of laughter involved (although Paris was very serious about playing Mary). We were instructed (per Paris) to continue acting out the nativity through the duration that the movie had (we stopped after Mary & Joseph went to Egypt). It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
