Christmas Day Morning

The kids woke up at 7:00 (even though we said they had to wait til 8AM) & they went down & looked through their stockings. Around 7:30 they came upstairs & begged us to go open gifts. Casey & I went down. The kids were so excited about their presents. The night before I got the gooey/monkey/butterscotch bread ready to rise so I just had to put it in the oven that morning. Yumm (ps- Just in case you didn't know it isn't very good for my diabetic diet... Ooops).After we opened the presents & the kids played for a little bit. Our friends Ken & Amy were very generous (the kids said they were like Santa). We got packed up to go to Utah to see family.

We had a wonderful time in Utah. We were able to spend time with all our families. It ended up being a quick trip since Casey had to work on Wednesday but we were grateful for the time we could spend.
