4th Of July

We had a really good 4th of July. It was pretty low key but it was nice. On the night of the 3rd we went to the North Las Vegas Celebration. It was our 3rd year. It is nice they give out popsicles and we bought some balloons & glow necklaces (which came in handy right before they started the fireworks & all the lights were out). We just sat as a family and watched the band Yellow Brick Road, which was really good. It was nice. Then the next day we went over to our friends and went swimming, had a BBQ and watched fireworks. They ended up having a neighborhood fireworks show that lasted at least an hour. It was pretty cool. Paris was so tired (they were up til 10:30 the night before) and fell asleep during fireworks. Which shows what a heavy sleeper she can be if she is really tired and it is after 10:30. It was just a nice time to reflect on our countries independence and how lucky we are for the freedoms we have. I am so thankful for all the women and men who have lost their lives and for the ones fighting to keep us free. So for all of you... THANK YOU!!!
