Last year our good friends Ken & Amy gave Paris a bunny outfit for Easter. We got it out and Paris loves it. She put it on and was so happy. Marshall carried it around before she put it on since it was soft. Then as soon as Paris had it on, he tackled her. Over & Over. It was pretty funny to watch. She enjoys getting tackled (and tackling him) and vise verse.
This morning was the Pulte Easter Egg Hunt. It was pretty small compared to last year, but I guess when you lay-off quite a few people that is what you get =(. It was a fun time as usual. Pictures with the Easter Bunny, juice and donuts. Plus a fun Easter Egg Hun in Willow Park in Summerlin. They let the kids 4 and under get a head start then the older kids come and swarm. =). Paris really had fun and got her basket full. Marshall picked up a couple and had fun with that.
Little rant... There was a boy about Paris age that was playing on some steps by the playground. Paris, Marshall and myself went and sat down. Then Paris & Marshall starting playing. There were 2 steps about 2 feet high each. The little boy told Paris to get off the steps. Then pushed her about 5 times until she fell off the top step (by this time I was there in enough time to catch her or she really could have gotten hurt). Paris starts crying(a given ~ it scared her). She told the boy after the first and second time not to push. He just kept going. Then his dad comes and doesn't apologize or make his kid apologize and walks off. Urgh... made me mad. Kids do things like that, I understand. The kid should have had to apologize and told not to do it again. Instead nothing happens. So the kid doesn't know he did anything wrong and will do it again. OK ~ end rant...
Tonight we went to the Community Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt @ Silver Mesa Rec center. We went with our friends the Petersen's and the kids had a great time. There was a carnival inside with bounce houses, soccer kick, basketball throw, egg walk, golf put, duck pond, cake walk, face painting, Easter bunny pictures, etc... They did the Easter Egg hunt with little glow sticks in the eggs. The kids loved it!! Such an awesome idea. Then some eggs had tickets so both Jayden & Paris got Easter Bunny stuffed animals. I can't wait till Marshall can participate next year.
